Vidya Balan Learns to Shoot in 10 Days For Begum Jaan

Vidya Balan is expected to stun moviegoers with her upcoming film Begum Jaan. The actress, who essays the title role played by Rituparna Sengupta in the original Bengali film, Rajkahini, transformed herself to play a brothel madam in director Srijit Mukherji's Hindi adaptation that releases next month. Vidya not only made herself comfortable with mouthing cuss words, but also learnt how to use hefty rifles in 10 days. She also learned how to ride a horse for the action sequences in the climax.

Praising women for their sixth sense, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar says they are the best spies in the world and that all husbands would agree with him. The 49-year-old actor, who will be seen in a cameo in the upcoming spy action film, Naam Shabana with Taapsee Pannu in the lead, said women are blessed with this extra sensory power. He added that it was not for nothing that international agencies like the CIA or Mossad believe women are the best spies in the world.

Ben Affleck Completed Treatment for Alcohol Addiction

Hollywood actor Ben Affleck has revealed he recently completed his term at a rehabilitation center for his alcohol addiction. The 44-year-old actor took to Facebook to announce he was undergoing treatment for the same and that it was the first step to recovery, adding that this be a lesson to his three children, whom he shares with wife, actress Jennifer Garner. Affleck previously went to rehab in 2001.

UN Special Envoy Angelina Jolie managed to go on a royal trip with her son Maddox after she delivered a speech on women's rights at the London School of Economics. According to local media reports, no members of the royal family were there during the mother-son tour. The Maleficent star had earlier visited the place as she and her family made a visit back in 2014 following her marriage to now-ex Brad Pitt.

Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma remembers the days when she would collect trashed wrappers from the streets. Anushka talked about her childhood hobby when she became a part of TV show Yaar Mera Superstar with Diljit Dosanjh to promote her forthcoming film Phillauri. When host Sangeeta told Anushka that she had heard that as a little girl she used to collect chocolate wrappers, Anushka said: “My mom used to hit me a lot for this.”
