Ryan Gosling Explains Why He Laughed During Oscars Mix-up

Actor Ryan Gosling has explained why he was caught giggling during the Oscars mix-up which saw La La Land mistakenly being announced as the best picture winner over Moonlight. The mistake happened after presenters Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway were mistakenly given the Best Actress envelope with winner Emma Stone's name inside. Gosling says his laughter, which was one of the most viral moments from the ceremony on the Internet, was out of relief. He said Moonlight was such a ground breaking film, made for a million dollars, and he was so happy that it was being recognized.

Agra to Be Recreated in London for Judi Dench-Ali Fazal Film

Fearing opposition from certain radical political outfits, Agra will be recreated in London for the last schedule of the upcoming British- American drama, Victoria and Abdul. The film, based on Shrabani Basu's eponymous book, delves into the little-known relationship between Queen Victoria (played by Judi Dench) and her young Indian clerk Abdul, portrayed by Ali Fazal. The decision to recreate Agra in London was taken because of security reasons, after a right wing group disrupted the shoot of the film in the city of the Taj Mahal, last November.

Bollywod actress Deepika Padukone said she is not walking the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival 2017 as she is busy with her forthcoming film Padmavati. Deepika recently bagged an international endorsement deal with a cosmetic brand as the Indian face of one of its beauty and skin care product brands. There were reports that Deepika was to represent the brand at the annual international festival. She said that right now all her energies are focused on Padmavati

Hollywood actress Amber Heard says coming out publicly about her sexuality during the initial years of her career was not easy. The 30-year-old star says many people told her that her career would end if she revealed that she identifies as bisexual. Heard who split with Johnny Depp last year, says she did not think her sexuality was a big deal, but learned otherwise when she took her then-girlfriend Tasya van Ree to an event in December 2010.
