Salman Khan Asked to Appear Before Jodhpur Court for Arms Case

The Jodhpur District and Sessions Court in India on April 20 ordered Bollywood actor Salman Khan to furnish a bail bond of Rs.20,000 and asked him to personally appear before it on July 6. This, when the Rajasthan Government made an appeal before the session's court after the actor was acquitted by a CJM court in Jodhpur. The police had filed a case against the actor in October 1998 for using a .22 rifle and .32 revolver in poaching two black bucks in Jodhpur's Kank village.

Cuba Gooding Jr.’s Singer Father Found Dead in a Car

Cuba Gooding Sr., who sang the 1972 hit Everybody Plays the Fool, has died. Authorities say the 72-year-old singer and father of Oscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr. was found dead in a car on April 20 in the Woodland Hills section of Los Angeles. Cuba Gooding Sr.’s own father fled Barbados and went to Cuba — hence the name of his son — before becoming a taxi driver in Manhattan.

Priyanka Chopra Chilled with Robert De Niro

Bollywood Beauty Priyanka Chopra was in New York, USA, where she attended the Tribeca Film Festival. She has been appointed as one of the jury members at the festival, which is on till April 30. The jury members had an elaborate lunch where Robert De Niro, the co-founder of the festival, was also present. The Quantico actor will next be seen on Baywatch, that also has Dwayne Johnson and Zac Effron.
