Standard Chartered Wins ‘Best Foreign Exchange Bank in Bangladesh’ Award

Standard Chartered Bank, Bangladesh has recently won the prestigious ‘Best Foreign Exchange Bank in Bangladesh’ award from International Finance Magazine (IFM), in an awardgiving ceremony held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. Alamgir Morshed, managing director and head of Financial Markets, Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh, accepted the award on behalf of the bank.

Commenting on the win, Abrar A. Anwar, CEO of Standard Chartered Bangladesh, said, “We are delighted to have received this award, which recognizes the pioneering role the bank has played in introducing innovative foreign exchange solutions to the Bangladesh market. We shall continue to innovate, and strive to go beyond expectations, so that the depth and breadth of our coverage and capabilities fully cater to the evolving needs of our customers. We are humbled and would like to profusely thank our clients and cus - tomers for their continued support and confidence in us.” IFM, a London-based international financial publication, hosted the ceremony with Dato’ Ilaong Karuappnnan, high commissioner of Malaysia, being the guest of honor for the event.
